AFAIK there was a max player limit, it was removed sometime around when the max player in prime time was like 10 I think :P

It's a simple option to add I think, maybe a bit of graphical modding needed for the screen. Of course this is coming from someone who's unwilling to touch the code so take it as it is :P

as a basic concept, it's not too bad. However, as juckto mentions, having multiple versions of everything in the same core would just be a pain to keep track of and to do.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
