Last update's got me crashing when I ask for the Current Games Listing. I'm using the DX9 alpha, is that the issue, or might it be something else?

MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Summer of '08 make
4GB Ram (3 GB detected in Windows XP)
WinXP SP3
GeForce 8600mGT w/512mb RAM

Worked perfectly before I got that latest patch, but I haven't played since April, so... dunno.

Here's that template:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Make and Version of firewall: Kaspersky Internet Protection Suite 2009
Make and version of anti-virus: Kaspersky Internet Protection Suite 2009

Confirm that you have the following installed:

* .Net 2.0 [ yup ]

Problem Encountered at Step #: 8
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): ASGS
What Error Message: None, game just hangs, have to get taskman to shut it down.

Make sure internet explorer is not set to work offline (so internet explorer is online).

It could possibly be because of mods or the Alpha but im not too sure, try removing the mods and then seeing if that works. It could also be your antivirus, make sure Allegiance isn't being blocked, and if that still isn't working then try uninstalling your antivirus and rebooting and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Are you running voicechat mods? If so, uninstall Allegiance and reinstall without any mods and try again. Voicechats mods might lead to those symptoms after an autoupdate. You could also try try reinstall the mods first and see if that helped.

If that does not help, try uninstalling your antivirus and run allegiance again.

Thank you both for your help, I tried both with no luck, but when I uninstalled and reinstalled the BootCamp wireless driver it all came back online. Must've been some freak wifi issue that only seemed to bother allegiance. It's interesting that it caused the whole game to hang.

Allegiance is good for ferreting out questionable hardware and the like.

Glad you got it going, so I'll close this as resolved.
