I happily do these things, I just don't like the enemy having a really fast ship, that can eye me pretty much always, and kill me within half a second of it getting in range of me! It's somewhat of a disincentive... and when you have a ship that can do all that, why get any other sort?SpkWill wrote:QUOTE (SpkWill @ May 7 2009, 05:04 PM) What people really hate is actually having to put some effort in to win the game, like say nanning miners, probing, proxing alephs. Taking a low sig scout and eyeing the enemy home, miners or forward base.

Average? If it's average then the model is absolutely in the middle. Which models do you think are better than ICs, because when I inquired in cadet, people responded with "good int models" for ic.Sealer wrote:QUOTE (Sealer @ May 7 2009, 09:29 AM) If by "good" you mean average, then I agree.

There are two types of Allegiance Players - Those who log in to play with me, and those who log in to complain about me. With me gone, both types lose interest. I am Allegiance.Mastametz wrote:and I forgot to add to my list of things people are addicted to, Video Games...how could I forget that.

What makes the IC int so good is the combination of a decent hit box, great gunmounts, good hull, ammo/fuel perk and a great accell : top speed ratio. The model itself may not be as difficult to hit as a tf or even rix model, but it's a hell of a lot better than dreg and the rest (excluding giga perhaps, but they don't really matter).phoenix1 wrote:QUOTE (phoenix1 @ May 7 2009, 02:55 PM) Average? Did somebody give Crono coffee again?CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ May 8 2009, 12:28 AM) I think I would agree to removing the rants forum if it made the game more aggressive and hateful.

What a crock of @#(! Crono.CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ May 7 2009, 04:28 PM) I don't care about having fun, only about winning. Some people might enjoy winning and have fun winning but I only care about winning at any cost. I command to win, not to $#@! around.
1. It's a game; you're not in a forced gaming camp, that makes you play it and DOES NOT LET YOU HAVE FUN WHILST DOING SO!!11one...
2. I suggest you try participating in something actually productive with this sort of zeal. Perhaps you should become some new form of autocratic state leader who can actually fix the screw ups of our society. This, it seems to me, would be just one example of better direction of your "I'm not going to have fun, neither should any of you, after all, this is clearly more important than fun!" attitude.
3. If you only care about winning - well, actually, what's the incentive there at all? Why do you only care about winning? What is it about winning that is so great? Of course, any reference to the term fun, or any aspects of positive entertainment cannot be used here, so be careful how you answer.
Oh, and happy birthday...

Heavy ints are always fun when your team has them.
Why not take HTT out of expansion altogether? Put it in the upgraded garrison maybe. Make expansion a purely supplementary tech path with ints & GA's. Heavy int bombing may just be endgame enough.

Remember, if you find any bugs, post them; feedback is also appreciated.Picobozo wrote:QUOTE (Picobozo @ May 7 2009, 12:23 AM) I want to play GoD core where it takes forever to get heavy ints.
I doubt that you would find any players though, people want quick tech, not tech they had to work for.
For those who never played older cores, the $2500 for a sup tech is half of what it used to be. In an effort to make sup more viable, prizes were cut in DN. In GODII the prices for other tech trees were increased to reach a similar cost as sup originally had, while keeping the high sup costs. Overall, this makes mining much more important.
