I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that somewhere though....

Meh im a nub and i'm old...maybe I need to move to the Allegiance Centre for the Elderly now

I belive in Large Games Edition there should be quite complex tweaking of scan ranges and/or signatures. In large games it's difficult to do anything sneaky because of random scouts, probes spam etc. Of course it's also matter of choosing proper map for larger game.

CODELtOP stats:
Hull: 6666
Shield: 6666

ABM1 stats:
damage: 400
DM vs lt hull/shield: 15


Calculations:

ABMs with 0 kb:
(6666 + 6666) / (400 * 15 * 1.0) = 13332 / 6000 = 2.222

ABMs with 10kb:
(6666 + 6666) / (400 * 15 * 1.1) = 13332 / 6600 = 2.02

ABMs with 17kb:
(6666 + 6666) / (400 * 15 * 1.166667) = 13332 / 7000 = 1.9046

ABMs with 21kb:
(6666 + 6666) / (400 * 15 * 1.2143) = 13332 / 7285.714 = 1.8299


PS:
Calculation doesn't include shield regeneration.
