Alleg+ you have AdvScouts and Escort Scouts (HvyScouts without turret).
Escort Scouts trade firepower/hitpoints/... for scanrange. Escort Scout development doesn't repleace the AdvScout at loadout screen.

I do like the idea of adv scout being the top traditional scout. As for Exo's idea there is something me and Dorjan have been playing around with, but we want to test it in a core first before offering it up for consideration. I'll get back to that in a month or so.

I challenge you this. Please go play games on the Alleg+ plus core, and see the changes that have occured since WAY before you were EVER here. And then, go play on GoD core, and see the changes they made. Then go play on an Old DN core, and see the changes that were made. THEN and ONLY THEN can ANYONE who has not been playing AT LEAST a YEAR AND A HALF VOICE THEIR OPPINION IN THIS FORUM
Bceuase I'm getting SICK AND TIRED of MORONS who HAVENT EVEN PLAYED AS LONG AS MY LIMP DICK HAS TRYING TO POST IDEAS THAT HAVE BEEN HASHED AND REHASHED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! This is pointed at people like Valiance, Girlyboy etc who haven't EVER played the old style cores. THANKS

I've been playing for three years. >_> Not as long as you, and I haven't played the old cores very often, and I still kind of suck, but... Well, apparently I can tell the difference between the Dev forum and Rants, and you can't, so at least I have an edge there. 
P.S. I'll go through the old cores as you, er, suggest, though, that sounds like a good idea anyway.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
It could be said I invented the Rix Hvy Scout rush (for the same reason many people think Ford invented automobiles).
Somebody did it before I did, I just did it better and more often, and forced everyone to play it until they figured out how to win with it, and then I stopped doing it.

Try balancing a core around real money settings.
