Pvt. Snowball! heh, well the scout is a great ship to start with as it gives a good idea of all aspects of Allegiance gameplay.

At least you had a nan and used it

So, welcome to the game, turtlefist, and have a great time!
One of the worst dogfighters this game has yet seen. And still, Cadet II made even me better!

As long as you realized what you were doing and stopped, it's no big deal. I usually carry a gattling gun in cargo if I have a nan equipped just in case I need to shoot stuff instead of heal stuff.

Hi all, just downloaded the game last night. There's a bit to learn. I do feel though, that after a couple matches there's a feel for how the game goes. Or at least how it starts.

So I thought "this looks like multiplayer X2, the graphics at least" and registered a callsign (guess which one). Let's see if we can't get this rookie flying.

How long does it take (after e-mail activation) until I am able to sign into the game? It still tells me the callsign I registered yesterday doesn't exist (web tools work though)...

I know this isn't the bug report forum, but here's the log: http://rafb.net/p/gT63IZ67.html

+Edit. Nevermind, rebooting firefox fixed it. Though it stalled out and was sucking up 100megs in processor, odd.

Anyway. Are you sure you made a game account, and not just a forum account? Otherwise it could be a typo you're making when you try and sign in.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
