Hi guys,
I've done a search on this, but couldn't find anything related.
I'm pretty new here and I suppose it is a matter of comfort with the game, but the first thing I have noticed whilst playing is the fact that so much goes on in the chat (surprise, surprise).
I was thinking about it and I was wondering about the possibility of being able to assign different sounds to team chats and chats directed to you?
This would help grab your attention when things are going a mile a minute and it would mean that your game commander would probably get a quicker response when sending specific orders to players over chat.
Make sense?
Thanks.
Sig.

Hi,
Thanks for the info Turkey!
Ok, for starters, I have changed the sounds for those 3 files. Let me know what you think. If they need to be louder or quieter etc.
The files are available here for the next 7 days:

Just unzip it to the artwork folder and overwrite. Don't forget to backup the original files!!!
Enjoy!

Hi,
Yeah, the idea is that the normal chats aren't noticeable. However comm chats and personal chats are.
As I've said, I am new and maybe it's just a comfort issue with the game. But the one thing I have noticed is that the chat sounds always seem to blend into the rest of the game sounds. That's why I wanted to place something that would stand out from the rest of the game sounds and hopefully become more noticeable. Especially when it comes from the commander or is sent specifically to you.
