OK i see many comm boot players and they come back in a hider and start whining about being booted or something similar. People ignore them so ok but what about a spoiled comm boots a innocent(done nothing wrong just booted as a expression of anger or misunderstood) player or a newbie (4) then how about instead of giving the control to com, give it to the team. Its the team rite too that who they shud fly with so when a comm boots a player, a vote starts and every player will vote and then the result will be final. Atleast the player won't hate the comm but he would know that the whole team hates him and they thought about it other than just Pushed the boot button and said "YOU SUCK".
Seriously this will really make things much friendly(atleast that what i think).

I'm not sure we need this - most players (at least in a PUG game will not have a good idea what the player did wrong so either won't vote, or will vote not to boot.RyoRichard wrote:QUOTE (RyoRichard @ Feb 2 2009, 10:42 AM) OK i see many comm boot players and they come back in a hider and start whining about being booted or something similar. I don't really have a problem with the current booting policy - I've been booted a few times for good reasons, never really experience the boot for bad reasons. The vast majority of comms give their reasons when they boot too.

Never ever introduce the horrible boot voting. It is one of those things I hate most about Battlefield 2. It is impossible to vote off anyone, because most people don't see the vote or care. I have yet to see a boot vote succeed. Of course commander specific booting also would not work in BF, because comms change more often and that would open up room for abuse. In Allegiance there are rules against abuse and they are enforced.
A vote would just increase the time to get a player out of the game that is currently doing harm. For example a newbie flying fully eyed a full loaded scout to an uneyed HTT or some sort. There are plenty of reasons why a boot should be instant and nearly none why there should be a vote. Nothing happens to you when you're booted. Log back in and finished.
