Look I get what he is saying, new guy says *sung to the beatles tune* Help I need somebody, help I need someone etc etc etc and one of the
big bad vets comes thunder over and puts him under his wing for some basic help...

no Psych not in a jail way. It's not a bad idea but as the receiver of numerous scars for trying to help new people but getting bite for my troubles I'll pass.

I can see you are bewildered by the response being rained down on you I'll explain in my errrrm unique style

What the Vets are saying is:

1) The spelling and punctuation is nerve racking but we wonder if English isn't your first language
- Hell English is my first language but I don't always post coherent thoughts ( can I get an Amen brothers? ) so I recommend a pass
2) The claims of uberness are giving us pause and the asshat detector is starting to rise to the uh oh level
- Claims of I'm great and know my stuff have grown quite old after 8-9 years and people are unmerciful when they smell this approach
3) Oh no he didn't! He didn't just pull out the old Chestnut about the community is dying again. Well at least he appears to want to help
- Honestly spreading ideas to improve things and then insulting the thing you wish to improve... ahh not such a good approach
4) Adopt a rookie, man we got a bunch of stuff to help new people, so go get better already
- You may not believe this but many people come here with a chip on their shoulder and a demanding attitude. After awhile those who wish
and want to help others like his Mooseness

do and those that don't ahhh make it known by the giant sign saying "STFN and go away".
They are trying to tell you that Cadet is the best way to get better and the idea of explaining the basics to someone in game is food for a poor
evening for the teacher and fraught with frustration

Hope that helped and you stop posting...no i don't expect you to stop posting until you leave the community in an angry snit... to bad since we can always use another player.

But now I wish I would have written what Shiz wrote

You might as well delete it because it wasted memory if you keep doing it.
I agree if my topics keep getting too much spam just move them or delete them.
