The cronology goes somethign like this:

M$ made an awesome multiplayer game
M$ bailed on aforementioned awesome game (why nobody really knows)
We struggled but were able to keep playing due to people like VenCain, Thalgor, Pook and others (if I didn`t mention your name I apologize).
Many years later and many, many players passing thru our hallowed halls here we are.
Feel free to write the next chapter, who knows where this crazy ship will sail.

Yeah I was wondering about that section... I mean I've only been here since February, but it sounds like SysX has always been a force.

SF never officially disbanded, but our last SG before the rebuild was near the end of AW3. So get the end of AW3 and you got it. I'm pretty sure it was after 2001.

sysx did die, i cant remember ever seeing one around until they reformed just before the lwms "merger", which as i recall was sort of presented as a fait accompli.
