need advice
Because good players like you are actually needed to do other things?

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Ew.
Just... ew.
/me runs and hides in a corner
EDIT:
It's funny because a few weekss ago I discovered that if I'm not nanning or probing then no one's nanning or probing, and my team ends up losing.

You should definitely join in and start flying. You'll end up changing your key-bindings over and over again as you learn more about the game. Or at least, that's what happened to me. Once you start getting more experience in the game you'll figure out which functions are most important and should be mapped to the easiest-to-reach keys. Until you get a bit of experience flying and fighting, you won't know what key set-up will be the most comfortable for you in actual combat.
I always use the training arena to configure my keys, BUT there's a bug, you NEED to open the CHANGE KEYS menu, and accept the keys everytime, or it will load the default keys, even if you are just launching and you don't want to change anything. This bug appears only on the training arena, not in the online game.

QUOTE just cause someone has a 15 doesn't mean they know how to fly an int. Look at me, I had my 15 well before I could hope to pod an unturreted bbr. I regularly get podded by newbies just to keep my pod-ridin' skills sharp![/quote]
True that. I've learned by now that fighting isn't everything (in fact many would call it secondary) and some vet's best thing is nanning. I'm just making a point - ignore the numbers. My biggest three mistakes:
1. Flying with the keyboard
2. Thinking that having #vet and @squad tag made someone a god.
3. Posting the nonsense that Phoenix1 has quoted below - that was more a bad joke than anything.

Right. And you fly under MicoolTNT? Or do you have any hiders I should know about?MicoolTNT wrote:QUOTE (MicoolTNT @ Nov 23 2008, 07:00 PM) I know it helps win, but I never do it personally if I can avoid it. I usually avoid joining games that haven't started to avoid probing and scouting.

MicoolTNT - re-read MrChaos's post.
Next, re-read MrChaos's post.
Now, take a moment to re-read his post again.
Follow that by not posting again for 24 hours.
Read his post some more.
Take a hike somewhere nice like in nature or maybe a beach if you are near one. Reflect on what you have learned.
Re-read his post again. Then read your posts. Now grimace, smash your face into the nearest wall (or monitor if it's big enough) and please stop slandering yourself.
