i agree with badger, he's one of those comms i enjoy fly for regardless of the outcome of the game. that doesn't mean the team under badger is any less competitive but for me at least, the first and foremost consideration is ENJOYING the game itself. if i cant do that (fortunately there have been very very few instances of this), then there's really no point for me to continue playing, even if our team is winning.
the thing that gets me though is the "echo" effect that i've seen more often lately. that is, some vet joins, says to the comm or worse on allchat, you did this and this wrong, etc etc. THEN, 3 seconds later, we've got another 2-3 pilots echoing the exact same thing as if the first time wasnt enough. hindsight is 20/20, mistakes were made, let's focus on the solutions instead. I'm constantly impressed by comms who can wade through all the negativity and somehow be able to translate that to constructive criticism. Hats off to you.

Defend the miners; Not a lot of people do it. Attack them; Many times people go attack miners at the expense of doing the right thing... and probably why Neo got bitched at unfairly (
since I wasnt playing ).Saying people dont defend cons, attack/defend miners, defend bases, nan etc etc in PU games is simply saying they are doing nothing productive and really wtf bother playing since the game isnt about dog fighting to most of us * points to the numerous well known names shaded and crossed out on the squad lists *. Once you add in the frustrated bitching at the commanders and the multiple booting every game wtf bother playing gets harder to answer.
Finally I agree with the idea one should not expect perfection every PU game and the you didnt do something perfect whining drives me $#@!ing crazy. It makes people even more reluctant to do ANYTHING since it's smug @#(!heads busily second guessing them in front of everyone. Add in the pressure of commanding and really we are pretty lucky the games even launch.
