During a recent game today, Naboki noticed that ELO classified two vets as Newbs. Icegrim and Serebrone.
I am not making this up. Two Vets that ELO is calling newbs. Coincidence?
I think not.

Both are members of Steel Fury. Icegrim has been with us since February and Serebrone joined us in June. AFAIN, neither of them have attended the Cadet course in 2006. Both are veterans.
So, what exactly would change them to newbie then back to veteran?

maybe BV was trying out a new ELO modifier that automatically classified all SF members as newbs? /owned-anim.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":owned:" border="0" alt="owned-anim.gif" /> /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />Striker wrote:QUOTE (Striker @ Sep 26 2006, 09:26 AM) So, what exactly would change them to newbie then back to veteran?

No, the modifier is only for XT. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
Seriously, TE is the guy for ELO. I know it has changed for newbs. He just posted up in the Cadet forum how it works.
Maybe he can post that up here. (hint, hint)
