This is turning out like an allegiance style essay test in tactics.

As a voob, I am highly inclined to predict that the small amount of players and their relative composition will most likely conclude in nothing less than a whorefest. Assuming that the commander of yellow is still motivated and not passing #resigns around, he will most likely either attempt to get some nice sup tech up, get a miner to scrape He and do the aforementioned or try and "bomb" something to draw blue away from the sup. Caltrops may be of use to stem or slow the hoard of rix ints (either physically or psychologically; OMG MINES!); but those too can be killed, valuable cash gone.

In the event that giga does up the sup, buying galvs will be a few more minutes, if they do not have dis2. Galving will probably give them the greatest chance to win, but opens them up for con pushes to their outer REF and lt TP sectors- Staging points for no holds barred whoring and the chances that the 3 miners rix has will give them some sort of game ending tech.

Speaking of tech, the blue team will almost invariably ask for mini3 and render most of yellow's actions futile (this is based on the assumption that most of blue's pilots can aim); or any other @#(!s and giggles tech. Arrogance and complacency is what will kill them, and to this giga should invest in minepacks. Hit and miss, minepacks give groups of close fighters the chance to take on the hvys; while a lone scout should move to prox the aleph.

I give up- too many things to write about

That sentence seems a little contradictotry.
It only seems to be. You need one good bomber pilot and a few voobs and newbs to join in. Chances depend on base placement, luck and the team work.

While I think some flaws have been pointed out in how the question was proposed, I feel that this is a big success. People are talking tactics using a scenario. Like someone said, thinking in game is not always easy when you have to make fast choices.

Being able to truly analyze a situation and explain WHY one way is better than the other is helpful.

That said. I think blue definitly has the edge. Giga is great, but if they get out teched, especially by a stronger team, hope fades fast. If Adv/Lxy Figs are only $15k away though, that might be different. They have the slight hope of galving the Rix OP's and TP's. I would not see any bomb run as viable, unless an op is sitting 1k from an aleph. Even then, I would focus the team on getting galvs up first. The blue team is stronger in skill, trying to go toe to toe in a furball could be bad for yellow. IF yellow did get galvs and was able to push blue back, then I would pursue tp2 to finish it off.

If the blue comm has any sense, they would push cons into yellows sup sector and bomb it. The other thought for blue is, get mini3, kill tp low and then kill the home Si mine. That would be game over for yellow too.

Now...I need to finish reading through all the posts! lol

I think this could be a great educational tool. It would actually be really awesome to have a forum in the training zone to discuss exactly these scenarios. It might help people gain situational awareness more quickly.

I actually had the idea and wrote the post in about 2 minutes, so that's why there are some holes in it. Making the picture probably took the most time. I was thinking of doing this again, only a better thought out scenario with more detail and giving people much more time to reply VIA PM. I probably should have bolded that part as even our vets have reading difficulties if the post is longer than 3 words. :P

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

True. As long as it is public? :)

I always would want some posts to continue in a public forum, just as conversational pieces. IT can be nice to see something like this and think about it. It helps get people through grueling work days :D

If I send you a pm how will people know I am smarter than them?
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday
