If you've been modelling for years and years and years, stop complaining and start helping. Nobody was paid to create the GT models, while the 'nix models were purchased and slapped onto a unbalanced and buggy faction.
Would love to, but ATM I'm working on 5 different project. Really eats up my modding time.
I can however donate lower LOD version of some ships/fighters I have...gots loads of them on my HDD.

But that still doesn't adress the important question - why reduce the number of factions when you got good models? And, if you are kicking out a faction, why not kick out the worst looking models (not factions)?
It shouldn't be a big problem to simply replace the Phoenix and Ga'Taran models and then remove the "nix", thus leaving the Ga'Taraan with Nix models.
Atm, what's done just seems a bit...backwards. You usually want to keep the good looking stuff IN the game.
As to the teamwork, yes, it is sadly lacking lately.
I've seen commanders begging for someone to go probe a system or defend a miner. Yes, some jobs aren't ALWAYS fun, but are ESSENTIAL.
Zipping around in your fighter/int while two systems away your team is desperately defending a miner/outpost - NOT cool.
K, those in a int have some level of excuse - "I can't get back in time" - but it still doesn't answer what they were doing there in the first place.
But those in fighters can ripcord for crying out loud!
IMHO, commanders should be more strict, but it's not easy when you're outnumber to kick players out.
