I like 1 and 2, but like most others I can't say I like 3

Misclicking can be a bitch :(.

Another thing you can add to your list is to remove the ability to see the green build sphere without eyeing the con. Countless times I've been in a lt int when I spot the green sphere, and I boost right towards thier base to eye it in a blind ship.

EDIT: Grammar edits

i agree 1 and 2 are great idea.. this will really increase the importance of scouting...

the build sphere removal....
what if we made the build sphere alone have a really high signature (ie. 1000%+) .. you have to imagine that kind of action (transforming a rock into a base) emits a tremendous amount of energy..

with a high sig, it will still 'probably' be seen, but not necessarily by a lt. int 6k away

linking the sig to faction specifics, could also be a good idea

#3 .. let them misclick, exp push to the enemy home FTW!

We can use the ASGS polls if you'd like - a lot of squadded veterans do not read the forums and it'd be unfair not to poll their opinions.

If they disagree with 1 & 2 they shouldn't be in a squad unless its @FTW in my opinion

@Kage - through in in game team alliances to these changes (not easy I know) and I will have your child!

I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

YES TO ALL!! YES TO ALL!!
I loose my motivation to help out more and more each day to drama like this. Which is why I am mostly /meh on this point. I will continue to play as I always have, with the morals I have been rasied with and if this community finds they don't like myself and others like me who just enjoy playing the game with their friends on TS or squadies, then they can ban us and my Warhammer account, Girlfriend, and IRL activities will get a lot more attention and will thank them.

KGJV wrote:QUOTE (KGJV @ Aug 5 2008, 12:30 PM) Rocks on minimap/command view:
For uncontrolled sectors:
- don't remove a "consumed" (base built on or destroyed) special rock from the minimap (and all rocks in command view) until actually scouted again. same reason as above.
- same wise don't update He3 levels for a team unless this team actually 'scan' these informations.
Once you control a sector (or share control), you'll get full real-time sector information for all rocks whatever the base scan range. if you have only probes and ship flying in that sector, scan ranges will be used.
Would be nice, if you have a timer next to the object (asteroid/base name), which shows you, how old the scan info is.

It would be also nice to have a extrapolation for the he3 rocks (optional).

Why? You could just...probe in there...or send just about any ship over to check out the rocks
