TF vs IC, we lose alot of miners, and get hvyints up about 30 minutes after they do. We bomb their forward op and take control of our half of the map, they control 3 sectors.
they then PUSH AND OP INTO MY EXP SECTOR middle, it plants, i get hvyints up as they start to bomb, they have had a tac up and thier SF's start killing miners. I take low with a TP that gets killed, and then push an exp low. I then limp to get PP, we start killing their SB's. I get adv and Hvy scouts, then upgrade the sup. We galv their op.
I now continuously SCREAM at my team to camp the 3 alephs they can get in for the next hour while i run 1 miner around my side of the map collecting money for fully upped XRM2 TP2 Hvybombers.
We lose a tp2 to their team, we pull off a tp2 run with dual drops, on their tac and exp (both adv), we kill the exp, and get about 60% of the tac. they drop a stolen tp2, but no-one really rips to it. They resign
moral of the story, DONT QUIT ON ME, WE CAN STILL WIN THIS.
Thank you blue, for not posting 1 resign the whole game, or whining. Yellow you should have let us win it

Excellant game. I had the plesure of commanding the opposing team most of game(I left while we still had the exp and tac and op). Had to leave unfortunately. Thanks to phsy. for keeping the Helo even at the beginning, it made for a great game.
I was impressed with the endurance of everyone on my team. I had a good set of dedicated miner D pilots and miner O pilots. The push of the op into the exp sector was done well by the team.
Thanks for posting how it ended. I actully came onto this board to see if anyone had posted any comments about the game. How long was it in the end?
TF SBBRS vs PP Ints is difficult. I had purchased sig2 prior to leaving and was working on sig3 but we still couldn't get very close without getting eyed(not to mention the nasty aleph camping GJ).
Games like that one, really make me love Allegiance.
Ps. Sorry to hear of the resign to end!

Blah blah blah blah (breath) blah blah blah blah (breath) oh, what was this thread about again......
Don't #resign. #mutiny instead.

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

Our team didn't take advantage of that window to use stealth bombers effectively. We hardly had any runs and the rare times we did there were not enough.
Nice kills there FireandIce and nice podding of me Fwiffo..we took eachover out then someone killed my 44kb!
It was nice getting that tp2 as well..I passed it to Paradigm2 and if only team listened we woulda blown your sup!

Careful now. If you draw attention like this and TE is true to form, he will make a mission of linking this account to your old one..fireandice wrote:QUOTE (fireandice @ Jul 30 2008, 09:06 PM) 123kills and 5 deaths by fireandice in 2 hours and 21 minutes. First place over all pilots but on losing team..
Larry's heavy int was particular gratifying to pod.

yea this is one of those games ill remember for a long while. i recall my teamates jubilantly exclaim "dm sector!!" and indeed it was a war of attrition. for the first third of the game i went around spamming prox/rps hoping for m-m-m-m-monster k-k-k-kills but that didnt happen and got podded *all* the time. after getting mad enough from getting podded left, right and center, i hopped into an int for some payback and had some very limited success until the whole team made a concerted effort to go after the red barons: (fireandice and ascalon).
right after we podded each other, AR, someone took away my kb too! and when confronted with the task of rebuilding my kb from scratch, i finally came to my senses and realized that my true home was at the turret seat. so i sat down behind ski2slow (great piloting btw!) for the last third of the game and concentrated on aleph camping after we got dm'ing out of our system.
