I would like some help with setting up teamspeak. I followed the directions as they were on the Wiki. After I did all of that I hit connect and a message came up saying,
No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

I tried connecting to ts.alleg.net and ts.dras.us and neither of those worked. I would like to know how I can connect to the alliance temapeak server.

Please Help.

I've been having connection problems too, and so have a couple of other people.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Yep... it's been that way for a week, now. Even using the IP address directly doesn't work, so it's not just a name resolution issue.

Can connect to it fine.

Check if you have PeerGuardian running.

Also, aarm might have banned you/your ISP/your City/your country from his servers. I know he banned most of Asia from TS in 2005.

I don't think it's any of that, Immz. It doesn't seem to be geography related (some are in the US south, some are in eastern Canada (from my limited spot checks). I was given an IP address, and if correct, doesn't respond to a ping request. For the record, I don't have Peer Guardian.

I was given 72.36.154.122. I thought of a broken route, too. I'm not up on my internet topology, but if it's a broken route, it would (I'm guessing, of course) be at Washington. The commonality of those I know to be affected would tend to be routed through Washington DC, I think.

edit: Sonic's being affected is a little odd. If he's in Alberta, I know for a fact that two other Albertans are not affected - Cowtown (Calgary, AB) and someone (nick escapes me atm) in Edmonton, AB.
