one thing is for certain....XT will now become more delicious then it ever was /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
Also, lemme hand out some SRM recruitment posters, and yes, they say "We believe in self control, enjoyment, and accepting people for who they are, just look at our roster! We have Augz, what could be more tolerant then that?".

that is what is wrong with 99% of alleg squads. i miss the old XT, when agri was senator and our recruitment slogan was "$#@! you, incompetent fool!" and when nak was king of commanders. there was even that halycon period when pook was xt.WhiskeyGhost wrote:QUOTE (WhiskeyGhost @ Jun 10 2008, 06:51 PM) one thing is for certain....XT will now become more delicious then it ever was /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

“Life,” the belgian agri observed, “is a long dialogue with imbeciles.’’
BBC Dambusters programme: "By the time they (617 Squadron) had dropped their bombs on the Eder Dam, they were flying at the height of that lamp-post"

I remember this. When him and noir whined about Sedition™ like the bitches they are when it comes to trying to handle THE SPIDEY
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

XT is going to move away from a private, "elite-only" squad to something more accepting of brand new pilots and from a much larger base of applicants. While the new XT would prefer pilots with Cadet wings, it is not a necessity. As new squad leader of XT, I seek to accept approximately 90% of all applicants. The only requirement will be to pass a brief 10 minute flight test to make sure you have a decent understanding of ship movement in the Allegiance universe.
so, your plan to save the squad is to boot out your vets and replace them with 90% of all people who can make their ship move?Bacon wrote:QUOTE (Bacon @ Jun 10 2008, 05:36 PM) Thank you all.
As a first step, I have decided that there are a number of current XT players who do not fit in with the new friendly XT image. The following players will be stripped of their tags and banished from the squad by next week.
One-Man-Bucket
Virulence
TheVoid
Kumquat
Duckwarrior
i seem to remember reading somewhere about GB's history, it was struggling, accepted loads of newbs and then just became a punch bag noob squad which people then left more because it wouldn't win.
i think you just need to not be totally obsessed about winning, not become a carebear newbie squad which needs a website makeover.
if you could keep the "we are awesome" image you used to have, but loose the "we hate everyone" then that would be cool.
i do kinda miss the XT banter of 04 etc.
having said that, their centrality in the inter-squad bitching was the reason i chose GB instead of them.
Oh well, part of me hoped this thread was serious. Shame /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
