I got bored one day and decided to look for cool things to do on the internet. I typed in online space combat game - multiplayer, and I was sent to a site with a link to Allegiance. To my great surprise, it was exactly what I was looking for!!!
I have already checked out the Academy, I'm going to read it over the next few days... or however long it takes for me to read it.
I intend of joining Cadet and/or ACS... they look like big helps.
Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself. Sorry for taking up forum space and all that jazz... my bad.
Can't wait to get started. It seems as if this IS the "Best game I've never played!".

ZOMG. My friend just came in to this computer and told me he used to play this game to! He doesn't play anymore but tells me that playing on the computer he used to play on will link our accounts!!!
If we link accounts that means we won't be able to play at the same time and I'll be immediatly ranked up, preventing me from playing on newbie servers!
Any way to solve this??

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

When you do start playing, expect to have a hard time with it at first. It takes a lot of patience and time to get things down, and the Cadet program will really help.

3) If you get discouraged, see rule 1
So have fun! Ask questions if you have them (between games if they can wait is the best time to ask) and most importantly when playing a game read the text chat at the top of the screen.

I see the Register went well StarKairi. Don't expect me to give out any newbie advice though. Last time that didn't go so well for me XD.
Anyhow lemme explain what's happening here.
This is a really interesting story about our little web of friends and family here so hang on to your hats...:
I, and a few others, are friends with StarKairi. It's interesting...
Ok. First there was JeremyymereJ (my younger forumspamming admin reviewed brother) who played for about a year and then stopped playing. This is when I created Sakuda since I didn't want to have to play under JeremyymereJ. Unfortunatly our accounts got linked due to me being careless and forgetting about the rule, being the noob I was (and still am). So that's two linked accounts so far. Then ole' Capn_Spencer comes along (My cousin) and decides he wants to play. He logs on one night knowing i'd be on and plays with me. He finally tells me he's my cousin (proves it my making several personal statements about vacations we had together and past times...), I get freaked out and excited and all that. One day he spends the night at my house and logs on on his account instead of mine without thinking. POOF!!! Another linked account via. mistake.
Final chapter: StarKairi (my cousin's friend) plays at my cousin's house and searches for cool online games to play. She finds Allegiance to her great joy and downloads it (creating an account and stuff in the process obviously). Capn Spencer stopped playing Allegiance a little while back (logging on to say hi to some friends before doing so, this counting as a log on, which might affect KAIRI's log on experience...). Kairi basically downloaded Allegiance twice because it was already downloaded, Kairi failed to notice this before going online and searching for online games... This didn't mess anything up but it was funny.
Ok so basically there's your long and boring story. In the end it all adds up to the fact there is already three hiders. JeremyymereJ is the main one, mine is the second one, and capn spencer's is the third. Putting Kairi online would be useless. She wouldn't be able to play under her own callsign.
The laptop- Allegiance can't initialize properly, but I'm trying to work around that using the wiki as we speak. I forgot whether any of us have logged onto the laptop with any of the linked accounts before. Gonna research that.
The cousin's computer- Has our linked accounts (all three) stored in there. Her playing there would be useless as i said earlier.
