10-15 minutes or seconds?

Do you require a reboot?

My initial guess is that there's something wrong with your hardware (either a card not seated right, or overheating). Possibly a driver issue, too. It doesn't sound Allegiance related (but Allegiance is really really good at finding fault in hardware).

I have the same problem and Im almost sure its the video card, I have to reboot a few times before it stops doing it.

I have also noticed that this problems came back just after spring (last year I had the same problems from around March to sept-oct) so I think it may be its overheating.

It would really help if you'd fill out the template in the read me first post. This way I could make an educated guess.

Uhh, does your vid card really have only 4 MB of on-board memory? If so, there might the problem lie... Correct me if I'm wrong, but Alleg's minimum was 8 or 16?

nope, you don't need a video card

QUOTE Multimedia PC with a Pentium 200 MHz or higher, 3D card recommended.[/quote]

though whether FAZ has changed that? i don't think they changed the gfx code apart from the new dx 9 client?

but the 254 mb of ram and windows xp sp2 did catch my attention

does it happen if you play alleg in safe mode or turn all the settings down?
