May 07, 2008 ----------

Finally successfully got a vehicle into the map that I can climb my person into. It's just the one-seat racecar that comes in one of the starter kits, but it took forever just to be able to climb into the stupid thing.

More to come!

/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Didn't know anyone else needed the code. Any idea how to do this? I can't just send the folder it's in by email, because it's about 65mb.

I'll look into the repository thingy.
In the meantime, here it is! Ta-daa!

Instructions: Unzip this into your TGE_1_5_2\examples folder, so you'll have TGE_1_5_2\examples\test.game\

Then open up Notepad and write inside it: torqueDemo.exe -game test.game

and save it the TGE_1_5_2 folder as test.game.BAT (not as .txt). then double-click the BAT file to run it. E enters a vehicle and V spawns it (though it may pop up inside a hill or not in front of you; press f11 to get to the world editor to pull it out from underground).

Directions for what I did are here; comments will help if you get stuck somewhere.

it's probably a bit in the spawn script/code that doesn't get the terrain height and set it sufficiently above it.
