Tournament Cancelled :(

Sorry folks, I thought this is what many people would like, but I've only recieved 5 teams who wish to play. We'll try again in the summer.

This is the moment many of you have been waiting for! By popular demand, a 2-on-2 dogfighting tournament is now being held!

When
Registration is open until [s]Monday, May 12, 2008 Extended to Thursday!
The round robins will take place the weekend of the 16th
The tournament will begin its opening phases the following weekend (the 23rd)
The championship weekend will take place on the weekend of the 29th, with the final match taking place on June 1st just before the squad doubles tournament closes with its final games!

Rules
Each pair is allowed to fly any combination of ships that they wish! Nanites are allowed!
For the round robins, teams must score 3 points to earn a victory.
A point is earned by ELIMINATING the other team! (Destroying both vessels)
Once you are killed you are not allowed to launch, cheer on your partner from the sidelines!
Each match will be watched by 3 officials so we'll be watching for any tricky stuff

SPECTATORS WILL HAVE A TEAM AVAILABLE FOR THEM!

Visit here to register : Registration

And here for a more detailed copy of the rules : Rules[/s]

Augz and Fuzzy as a team would be unkillable
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

One question about this tournament> When are you allowed to dock to repair and rearm? Between rounds only or even during combat, if possible?

Only between rounds, once you're both launched, you can't return to base unless your team is the last ones standing or you die!

And currently the only factions allowed are the original 5 factions developed by microsoft
