I was in the closed Beta. I bought the game, it died. A friend recently mentioned that users were still running servers. I didn't think it'd be to this extent. I used to close my eyes and see the hud. I don't know if playing again is safe for me, heh. The curiosity about changes or similarities in the game and community is nearly killing me.

In the vain hope that anyone remembers me, I made this thread. Thanks to everyone who has kept the game alive. I apologize for those that'll be my team, I never was any good in an int or fig.

Yep. Just like the folks at the police academy need those black cardboard silouettes.

<----------------- Remembers you. I ran the beta program when I was working in Microsoft Games (1997-2005). Nice to see you have found your way here.

I had to quit Allegiance after it hit retail otherwise I would be divorced today (and not have any kids). However, after playing several hundred different games over the years I still longed to fly the unfriendly skies. It's been over a year now and I can count the number of days I haven't logged on with two hands.

Long story short, the wife tolerates my daily Allegiance time and haven't played another game since. Beta was great, and I'm reliving the glory days every time I login and strap myself to the 'ol joystick. Welcome back.
