I'm keen to hear any ideas.. especially from our aussie, nz and asian players.

Are there gaming forums etc that we can advertise Allegiance to?

I also think the point about an locally based server is great as a lot of players from this region don't like putting up with 200-450 lag. Of course it costs money and needs someone to step up to the plate.

Can we also revisit the squad game times?

Anything we can do to grow the retention and recruitment of players at these times would really be appreciated.

I'd love to see an Asian/Pacific server (preferably about 50k south of Perth, Wa /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> and I posted to Internode - one of the larger game servers - without much luck as there wasn't enough interest.

Perhaps we could work on the Asian market who are big into televising squad games in UT?

I wonder how a vid of a decent squad game would be received? I'm picturing a narrated vidcast of the big picture via F3, zooming in on the action as squads carry out bomber runs, miner O and the like. Let viewers get an appreciation of how the team co-ordinates intel/attack/defence/expansion. Flash it up with some decent tracks... Ride of the Valkyries for the bbr run?

Any aspiring Directors out there?

PC Powerplay is a popular magazine down here and they have large and active forums so you might try them.

Alternately, lobbying Telstra Gamearena to host it isn't a bad idea either.

They've hosted many servers just for mods, and it could also be a giant pool of new players (curse or blessing, I do not know)
