I'm pretty much in the same boat, Darklight. I just keep comin' back every week or two, looking for an update.

P.S. As I said in an earlier thread, I'm perfectly willing to fix ASGS if whoever is in charge of it at the moment would get in touch with me (jsilicon@gmail.com). I do this kind of thing for a living (though, I haven't had anything to fix anything for 2.0->3.5 yet, I made an easy $250k off the 1.1->2.0 transition; most of my work is converting old C/C++ code up).

As it was said numerous times in earlier threads: 'No, thanks'. Why? Giving out the code for application providing secure gameplay (and holding quite a large private information database) doesn't sound like a very good idea, does it? Trust me, there's a small army of various programmers and developers who could do this (including myself and most of the Helpline people).Silicon wrote:QUOTE (Silicon @ Apr 6 2008, 09:24 AM) I'm pretty much in the same boat, Darklight. Why is the ASGS broken? Here's a quote:
QUOTE Pook (creator of ASGS) is doing perfectly fine with cross-framework transitions and it is not his fault, that the ASGS is failing to work with newer .NET Frameworks. Third party component used in the application has a serious bug, which is currently worked on by the vendor. Regular pokes are sent to the vendor regarding this issue, but otherwise we can't do anything but wait.[/quote]
