Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

When was autobalance introduced? Either I'm too tired to read properly or it isn't mentioned in the change logs.
As I recall:
When I started playing the button was called "Autobalance" but its functionality was altered, and it just flushed you and gave the message "You have been reassigned to a random team"
Then it changed to being called "Flush" and the message was "You have been removed from the team cause GC pressed flush"
Then it changed to "Flush/Autobalance"
?
