So (and I'm not suggesting we rip off Starcraft; I'm sure plenty of other games have big-suited soldiers)
More like SC's Terran Marines than modern army guys? That could be fun; to be honest, I've always wanted an extremely large-suited soldier.
EDIT: Of course, they have to have appropriately large guns then, too *cue evil laughter*

what's wrong with ripping off starcraft? it's not their idea in the first place anyway, because they took terrans and zerg from warhammer 40k universe (and protoss too, to some extent).

i understand that it's a bit too everything, but if we copy, let's work our way from the original, not from the copies of the original.

for IC battle suits*, sure. i somehow can't imagine bios in them. bios would look better in eldar design, without that ridiculous head ornaments and what-not glued to their helmets.
and belters maby, if we apply ork design idea: kill, squeeze meat and bone from useful parts (from armor to guns), break, glue with free use of bricks and mortar, use to kill, repeat.
so belters are a junk armada and it makes sense that they have ICs out-dated models, repaired and modified for belter use and needs.
