No, No, no, NO.
I do not support that for one big, glaring reason Plaything.
Abuse of it.
Think about it, if people here more than five years are pricks, What's to stop them from abusing that power and banning the other team's best player's with 0 min bans just as there is a big run coming through? Or after the game if they are pissed they lost and there proceeds to be a lot of mass bannings?
Sure that person would end up getting a very long ban himself, but that's what the @Allegs are for. No we are not Omnipotent and can't be everywhere at once, but there are more of us now to fill in those spots so AFK comms are gotten rid of more quickly. To give anyone here five years that power is just idiotic at best. It's like saying "Oh, he's been here five years, we can trust him not to abuse the powers of the 0 min ban."
Yeah, not buying that for a second...
afk banning
No matter what, I think we need more ways to boot afk comms when no @allegs are around. You could add a feature where people could type #kick playername and if enough people typed it, the person would get kicked. Obviously, it would only be a feature in the lobby.
Also, I'd like a kick button. Sometime, i've been in situations where I had to get rid of people for some time, but didn't really want to ban.

Once R4 goes live it will be even easier to just move to another game on the same server.
As far as an #kick, which I presume you would want to just remove the player to NOAT but not ban them from the game so they could rejoin if they wanted to, not a bad idea. Lobby side you could just flush if you really had to get rid of the player and did not want to boot them. In game it might be 'nicer' to kick an afk player so if they come back and there is room they can get back on. But for the most part, players should be doing that themselves !!! If their afk status raises the eyebrows of the commander they deserve to get booted.
