Most of you have prolly experienced this once, the rush.

Like when your hint bombing, in your ceptor. Your team fly's into the enemy camp and your mission is to 'clean up' the camp. You fly in, start killing them one by one. You see some friendly explosions left and right. But your so focused on your killing you barely notices what happens around you. It gives you that fuzzy feeling your playing a very fun game.

!

At a sudden time you see a pop-up xxx base destroyed or read, ##{|@ learn to nan you voobs. You suddenly realize your the only friendly in sector not flying in an egg home in low structure. You hit b to select nearest base and boost towards the alph to get the hell out, and even manage to make it out alive with a nice kb. Pick up your team and go in again for some more shooty shooty.

Last night I had it when playing a bios game, tp2 probe on enemy sup in home sector. The whole team there to kill your xrm hvy bbrs, they come in, you cloak fire missiles, uncloak again keep fire the last one right before you die. 2 secs later you read ... base destroyed, was like sweet!

You can get it in alot of other situations too ofcourse. Just wondering if its only me, it didn't wear of for me in 2 years time.

Its not the shaking feeling, where your hart start to pump alot. But more a wtf this was awesome feeling.

Its not something alot of games can offer, I know BF2 can. Its what I like so much about alleg, apart from space shooting and teamwork I also like in this game.

ooooohhhh yeah /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I get the rush feeling when we snatch victory from the hands of defeat, or just when the team works together really well.

It doesn't get much better than:

Some1 caling 'no and right away having a fully turrreted bbr launching and nans coming too.
Mulitple bomb runs that both succeed
Sneaking HTTs and stealth nans in and waiting for a distraction to capture their base
Pushing cons in after the BBR, and having both the base die and the con build....
Being part of a SF group that kills every miner they send into their only mining sector...

/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

LMAO, I love allegiance!

i tend to get it on an SB or HTT run more than anything else... those are the two roles for me that are really "if i screw up, its done" .

Yes, I often get the rushtoo, but if I write down what I like and what gives me the rush, I might jinx it. Call it pilot superstition. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I call it the "flow". When I got the flow, I have good turret gunners with me, faithful nans behind me and a trusting comm. I love calling an enemy bomb run (even though it is not spotted yet), camp for it uneyed and blow the @#(! out of it and counterbomb. Tricking the enemy by using the fake and fake-fake runs. Sneaking in a bios hvy bomber and blow ops against hvy ints...
Often though, people don't nan, don't gun properly and the comm is an idiot... (last one was BoG, he attemted to micromanage me. I ignored it, bombed successfully and quit the game, when he continued giving me his flawed commands)

I get a lot of those. Especially when bombing the expansion against heavy ints and succeeding. Boosting belter bombers to 180+ mps sustained thanks to scouts with a clue (DON'T $#@!ING KISS THE BOMBER'S ASS NOOB. Hit him, sidestep out of the way and let the guy boosting in from behind get his turn.)...

Yeah, I agree with Immz. I get the rush most often booster-ramming the bbr and then turning to help kill defenders if I'm not belters, in which case I'd nan.

It's not a rush really, but more like being "in the groove".

Bombing (especially solo or with not many nans/turrets/D) and SBing really makes my heart pound /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I don't HTT too often due to door-o-phobia /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
