Not that its too spidery... just not craby enough.
You might be able to cap off the center of the web with the carapace you usually do(might even use it to house a small dock and exit(if this is a sy)
Add something pointy to the outward supports
narrow the round portion of the web and remove some links entirely
I even painted you a picture

Ugh.... this one does not convert to triangles very well (2500 triangles per piece x 17 pieces)
Unless there is a strong interest on this, I won't rebuild it using different geometry that the program can handle better.

Nvm.... I rebuilt it anyway, I wanted to try a hunch...and it worked.

Thanks asheron, I'll try those things when the time comes.

Hey ramaglor

This is abit delayed, but about grouping for the garrison.. I guess I wold group all of the ball joints on the legs, u have 3 set s of them, and then the similar leg structures. That said, you really don't need to do that, I would keep doing how you have been, keep them ungrouped, that way when whoever tetxures them, they can worry about it, because some of the meshes seem to have different texture maps, even though they are all similar, like the armor plates or whatever on the top of the doors. Then after all is texture mapped, and the cvh and stuff, then a person can finally group everything accordingly for a final game version

I have been trying a texture on the garrison, I am waiting for general T to see if I can continue with that or not, it looks pretty rad, but I want his permisison to modify his textures.

Isn't there one capship that is really wide? Is it going to be able to dock?

err, assuming that's a SY. It is, isn't it?

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

IT's just a bit of using the scaling right. And if you noticed on the IC SY, the ships aren't 'inside' the door when they dock
