Yeah, see topic.

Have "random" as a money setting(s). It'll go through .75 to 1.25 as a range.

And you were proud of it until you realized that everyone else, except for the loser at origin, was also ahead of the curve... I really should add a visual representation of this /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

My dear periwinkle and schizophrenic SL,

Perhaps a better idea would be a feature to prevent inappropriate settings.

Both maps and money need to be scaled to number of players in the game. The client could detect inappropriate maps and money settings and could warn the game owner accordingly.

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.

Well, no, since that will remove the ability to launch an out9/2.5 on single ring to test out future FAZ releases... And well, if you're silly enough to let one of those to launch as a commander in a real game, you sort of deserve it. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

What I'm suggesting is the ability to implement a randomizer feature for money settings.. to 'spice' things up a little bit.

A randomizer as an option would be nice as long as it sticks to reasonable settings.

And how about the resource settings/map/ff/sy and other important stuff to be listed in the lobby for all to see?
The blinking of the settings button is nice already of course and I'm not sure if there's room to list all the important settings either.. Map and FF and SY can also be checked ingame (ESC+I, damnit people! learn! it's faster than typing 'is ff on?' or 'is SY on?')

But I'd like it anyway /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The randomizer would be lovely as well.. as long as the settings are within such limits that the other team doesn't instantly resign if they got bad settings..

A randomize faction, map (appropriate for team sizes), and resource settings (within a reasonable range), would be a nice feature.

I'd rather have smarter miners.
