I had a game one time that I made up some Attack Ints for the one man team I was on. This was capable in TEK so I explored it in the game and it worked out great.
Since then I have been attempting to repeat this and have been unable to .. I thought perhaps .. it was an SY thing but in TEK it should make no difference .. but TEK and game can be different ... I suppose?
But With SY on or off I have never been able to get the drone attack ships again ... I know it is only one faction that gets them .. and I was only on certain Cores ... Was that ability Nerfed recently ? or did it just stop working ?
It even tells you in base it is capable with the highest ship tech of that type but ... no it is not, after spending all the money for the technology it was useless, even with the trancievers or what ever it was called you need for the extra abiltiy.
Perhaps I did it wrong the second time ... but the third and fourth .. I had to keep checking to see if it was somthing I was doing wrong!!
So Help !!! Is this just changed? Can we not get the attack drones anymore ? If so change the battle manual radio in station !!! and the TEK !! I have come to rely on it for so much !!
If I am getting bad info from the TEK I am doomed .. I plan all my games econ with it, if it is giving false output Egad !!
I know you do not support the TEK but I am just attempting to find out if things have changed in the cores on how they allow things to work .. changing the truth in TEK? I do not want to waste money developing heavy int cover for myself when it can not happen!! I will just resign to the 2 or 3 people against my one at that point!

now I guess my confusion is on the core names then ?
Some are Epic Dn so that is not DN but the Epic core ?
European DN should be the same as Squad DN it seemed when I tried it on some of The what should have been DM cores i could not get the Attack Ints for Phoenix with the proper bases built and upgraded etc.
With or without SY It should not matter.. I was just wondering if the Squad DN does not have this or the EU DN does not have this ?
Just saying the DN core has this and the way the servers are listed is confusing to me!
I have a hard time telling what to expect from the technology tree by the way the servers are named.. they seem close to the core names but are combinations and off a little ... admittedly I am easily confused!!
I did think I read a rundown on the cores and the Servers if some one can direct me to that so I can save it or print it I would really appreciate it .. I have been looking for it.. and read so much before and during cadet it could have been anywhere!

I don't really recommend the solution of tying 'special' tech to the SY option. It's either acceptable to be added or it isn't. If you have experimental tech, make an experimental core.
