This is getting to be mildly amusing. Just a quick take on things.

Alegiance has a steep learning curve. I was glad to see that DP was trying to scroll up to read the chat -- that is a good sign.

Now, about flaming -- I wonder if DP sees the irony, as the post flaming the community was started by DP (at least that is my read on this thread).

Next on the list -- DP has had a few offers from some good vets to give him some training time. I sincerely hopes he takes Xason or some of the others up on this offer. I would hazard a guess that almost ANY decent vet you see in a game would take the time to scehdule training if a newb ask.

Next -- I assume you are a vet gamer -- perhaps not in a game like allegiance, though. This is not role-playing -- it is skill testing. You have to put time in to get better. That is not eveyone's 'cup of tea'.

And another thing -- the average age here is probably a bit higher that what you are used to for other games. I have underwear older than you, which leads me to my next point

Please don't generalize a whole community based on a few weeeks of experience. Are we perfect? Hell no. But we ARE a group of folks who tend to have alot of fun. I mean, we all can't be geniuses -- just ask Blade of God.

PS -- I am to freakin' tired to check my spelling -- so have a field day with my typos.

Well there being only about three and a half people who have ever played this game, you probably wouldn't have enough money for bus fair.

Allegiance-The fact that this game can make you so mad is the reason you will come back and play.

This is a real game, no memorizing your way through levels, no memorizing build orders, no little program to download and gain superpowers, no fighting dumb ai endlessly to gain a lvl. This game is a real test of skill and smarts, the genius that went into the design of this game, whether by some measure of luck or inspiration, is unmatched IMO. So if nothing else, enjoy the game and just ignore the community. See ya around.

BoG apologised? Linky?

this is still going? i thought he admitted he was wrong at page 4 and gave up and decided to play properly after deciding to leave on page 1, now i read page 8 and he is combing page 1 and 4 with "i hate you all and i'm staying"

i think we need to make a league table of people like this, perhaps a hall of shame for posts where people say "your community is going to die within the next month and i'm going" or something

I accidentally posted something twice, too. Dunno why.

And maybe this thread should come to Wisconsin and get mistaken for a deer xD.
