So once again I have found myself in a stacked game. The game was 5 Intermediate Players vrs 4 Novices of 4 or less rank and a Newb. Obviously the game went bad for the Novices. This is an on going saga here from what I have been able to find on the forums. If you want a community like this to survive and maybe even grow, treating your new players this way will only discourage them and make them leave.
I'm very discouraged by anouther trend i have seen, people jumping from a game the second it turns tough. Often times the games are very difficult, but not unwinable. Thats all I have to say, and sorry if this is not where it should be posted as I said I'm new.

Stacked Games.
wow okay i don't wanna say this but stfu, you haven't been here for a month yet, but you're confident that every game is stacked and that stacking is an extreme problem, get onto the main server for a year and tell me that every single game is stacked
besides we haven't treated noobs any particular way, you've just accused more than 300 people of a certain attitude after watching the behavior of 5

Get over yourselves, don't try to win arguments on the internet where the option of a punch in the mouth is unavailable

Lots of times people get dropped during the game by the server or what not. It's not intentional. You'll see them come back usually, unless it's very frustrating for them for whatever reason. As a newbie, you should read up on this game as there is quite alot of learn.Noctum wrote:QUOTE (Noctum @ Jun 15 2007, 05:29 PM) I'm very discouraged by anouther trend i have seen, people jumping from a game the second it turns tough. You would be wise to also consider joining the Cadet program if you are still interested in this game. There's alot of newbie support that can be found there.

Its an obvious problem that alot of vets acknowledge, and some dont. Do yourself a favor and wait for the game to launch, and join the team with the stack.Noctum wrote:QUOTE (Noctum @ Jun 15 2007, 08:29 PM) So once again I have found myself in a stacked game. Ahh, back when i was a newbie, I did something similar to you, my advice is get used to it, I did! if the games stacked, join the newbie server, look for FE_Eagle ingame if you want any help with anything!
Quite often the people who will snap at you for complaining about stacking are stackers themselves, just ignore em! they are pissed off because "Gaming is all about winning" and in there eyes thats all they see, so when someone complains about there method of winning, they think they are being targeted, and defend their holy graile.
Some players of Allegiance are dedicated stackers, i can only name about 5, You will get to know these sooner or later, if you see them on a team, just go to another server, or join their team and lay low, since your new you probably will force a vet to go to the other team and anti stack! its tricky to explain, but it works /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Over time, people will get to know you more, and the games will seem less stacked as you play more, because you get used to it, dont be upset by helo, i know some people with incredibly high ranks that are actually noobs! these are the stackers, dont worry about em, just play, if its too bad, ave a break for a while, theres plenty of other games to play if your getting frustrated with Allegiance!

Alright, well...I have to say that I'm not going to get pissed at this, but please...This is about the 7th thread I've seen that complains about stacking. Like IB said, about 70% are stacked. What I do, is leave the vet server, and join a smaller game. Since there was less than 10 people playing, it was late night, so stack is a bit more prone to occuring. It's a part of gaming, man, so just try to join the stack, or head against it. Don't leave the game because of it, though, it's nothing serious. As I read starfire's quote again on TS, I laugh again.
"It's like y whore a (0) and make him delete the game just fore personal gratification. hell, go beat up your chicken, it wont leave"-Starfire
Klt and FE should know that @CDT is usefull, they are still in it /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
My advice to you, don't take their advice JUST yet /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
Or take mine, I'm a crazy mother$#@!er /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
