Hello everyong, it's been too long since I've been here, I see you guys are keeping busy as ever.

Anyway, I was looking at a magazine stand, and noticed the latest MaximumPC claims to have Allegiance on the CD. I haven't bought the mag, so I don't know what form of Allegiance is on it, but I think this will be grat for getting new players /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Anyhow, I'm going to go launch my AllegClient, and spend some time updating it /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

See you in game

I bought the mag to see what was on it... it's our current installer complete with ASGS, etc... it's the same as you get from downloading here.

Ahem.

Time to dust off the welcome mat and prepare for the influx of newbies.

Sounds like this'll be a busy month for the @Cadet program.

(Actually I have, but that's not the point /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />, and it sure as hell wasn't on my first half day.)

Edit: Ah, I see you have already gotten a rant and a site feedback thread requesting post preview for yourself on the forums, good job. Maybe you can set the record to be the fastest person ever to get forum banned.
added some bits

the rant i was expecting (ok, i went there to start one and found one already made), but i didn't expect the site feedback thread.

p.s. what exactly do you think will happen when you have the highest average posts?

Yep, I am one of the said newbies. I heard about Allegiance for the first time from this past issue of MaximumPC and I am looking forward to running through your cadet program.

Hopefully I will be able to drag a couple of my friends into this community with me since they were all HUGE "X-wing Vs. Tie and Fighter" AND "Starcraft" fans back in the day.

Se ya in space!

hello Euler. you have no idea how funny (in a good way) that comment is /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

it's good that you want to join CDT, it will really teach you a lot of stuff. and it's easier to find the right sqad when you graduate.

check on the allegiance academy in the mean time, to get some info that will help you to be usefull to your team. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
