Hi guys,

A number of us from Penny Arcade's G&T forums are going to be logging on tonight to try out the game. I played back in the beta and a little into pay to play, and I've logged on every so often to see how the game is holding up (my last logon was in 2004 before last night).

I have to say the game seems alot easier to install and get going now, and the game ran beautifully from what I could see.

Anyways just wanted to give the heads up a number of new folks may be logging on throughout the day and tonight at 9EST.

Great to have you here. I noticed a couple people on your forums were having various issue with getting Alleg to run, just ship em over to the helpline forum here and we will make sure they are up and running for tonight.

Welcome Bamelin et al. I read through your forum thread and noticed that may not know about Allegiance Academy. You should share the website with your friends to familiarize yourselves, as it can be overwhelming the first time.

This game is very intense and at times things can get very heated among pilots, so hopefully you'll be forewarned and not take anything personally should it happen. This certainly is one of the best games I've ever played.

There is also an 8-week cadet course going on regularly should you guys decide to stick around. I'm one of the cadets and it's extremely helpful.

Great, game needs more exposure. Problem is, it's so hard to explain WHAT Alleg is.

People come expecting an RTS
People come expecting a "How many kills can I get and BONUS I get to piss real people off elsewhere in the world, sweet!"
Not too many come looking for a teamwork game, well, because there isn't many out there.

Hope we get a few more people that love the game out of this.

BTW, thanks Clay_Pigeon for getting over there fast and posting something useful and welcoming!

I read over the post down at penny arcade and heard mention you were hoping for some Voice chat, A ts Server has been generously maintained by one of our members for the Purpose of Allegiance. your welcome to use it. ts.dras.us TS is probably the best place to get a feel for the communities personality. Plus people are more likely to help you on Ts than typing it out

Alot of people in the PA thread are reporting having a problem where the game automatically minimizes itself every 2 - 3 seconds.

Welcome PA'ers.

If any of you guys have problems, search through the Knowledgebase to see if it's a common problem and if there's an easy solution for it. If not, start a new topic in the Helpline forum and our community will be happy to help.

As far as minimizing itself every 2-3 seconds, I'd try hitting my WINDOWS key after logging in to bring up my start menu, and then switching back to Allegiance again. Force it to hide and then come back. I'd hope that would solve it.

If not, start your topic in the helpline and we'll work through it there.

Welcome to Allegiance!
