Maybe. Do you use CortUI or madpeople's UI mod? If yes, then you will definitely have problems. Otherwise, it will probably run fine.

My own copy is hacked to work with a specific install of CortUI, so I understand your complaint. At this time, I don't have the means to resolve this issue.

I use CortUI.

What's so different about your version of Cort than the regular Cort?

Basically CortUI replaces the file that defines how your HUD is made up to accomodate it's extra functions.

FlingHUD just replaces the existing graphics as called by the original HUD setup.

As the config file is different for the HUDs they may well not be compatible.

I edited the dialog.mdl file that CortUI installs to include the changes from lessHUD's dialog.mdl file.

Seems like a nice HUD, I want to try it.

Does it work with Weed's pointer arrow? The huge red and green arrows that point to an enemy or base?

I've installed madp's UI mod, and have had no problems with LessHUD. However, I have noticed losing some of the features in from the UI mod (and does the f3 map show eye any more?).

Nice work fling. Now if i can only get you to add a proxy drop
bar at the top of the hud.

After locking on to the enemy, the bar will start moving from left to right.
it will calculates the (enemy velocity) 4.52. when it reaches the correct
distance to drop, the bar will have made it all the way to the right. then drop
your mines.

you will have to lure the veteran pilot into your mines
on an oblique angle. hit your vector lock (L) and swing your nose
around to point at the enemy. use your side thrusters to adjust
your vector so you are heading directly away from them.
when flingpu's proxy drop bar is all the way to the right,
drop your mines! if you wait to long, hopefully your comm has
bought a fast rip time.

p.s. special thanks to tango for showing me how to proxy kill.
p.s.s if only i could get myself to use it in a game.

it removes most of the functionality of my mod...

i'm planning on making a version of mine that supports his hud... but i have not much time...

perhaps fling could look at mine to see what i've changed and make a version of his with my changes in (i didn't make many, so it would be a simple change)
