It's a known issue... The only solution is to deinstall and use Windows Firewall.

Ah yeah I saw that on the wiki and tried that. Ill try to allow directplay access manually. Totally uninstalled ...

I solved the installing problem after trying a few different things. I managed to get into the game and got to current games listings, but when I click on that I got failed to connect to lobby. Again I tried the usual things, running as admin, toggling firewall.

Windows Version (and Service Packs): 10 Home,
