Okay, reading it over again in a calmer mood, it's obvious my response was over the top, out of proportion to the offense. I posted expecting to be attacked, so snapped at the first person to suggest verbal attacks were perfectly normal and nothing to be upset about. Right response, but wrong target ...

I've started to play twice, and quit twice. Lasted a month or two both times. Must be stupid or crazy, because now I'm thinking about going for #3 in the hopes it can be different.

I think the second biggest reason I stopped playing is because the game requires such an enormous investment of time ...

I'm working on a plan that doesn't require any changes to the game or extra effort from anybody but the daily regular players. It might even work. Hang tough, kids.

Everybody got all excited about my kills... I kinda felt like I was cheating, because I got most of them the easy way. I docked to repair and rearm, and it just happened that the first cap ship called for turret gunners right then. So I spent a lot of time in that game riding the turret.

They leave because Allegiance is so very difficult to learn. Simple as that. The pain of the learning curve outweighs the pleasure of the game. The newbie's experience is not knowing what's going on, not knowing what needs done, and desperately searching for some way to contribute to the team ...

During the anniversary game, I saw a command that was totally new to me. It was something like "Meet me at the jump point."

I didn't accept the order because I didn't know what it meant. So I'll ask here... what da hell was that about?
