Nice job everyone who is responsible for this. Logged into steam, saw Alleg pop us as something my contacts had been playing, shouted WTF! Downloaded and recieved warm and fuzzy nostalgia hit.

The biggest problem with omicron is that they are boring.

They went from the turret faction in the design concept to a flavourless mish-mash of existing factions that have no specific points of interest or challenge to make them enjoyable to fly or command.

1) Your analysis seems to point towards IC being OP (and therefore the de facto choice for the majority of SGs) rather than Rix being borked. I personally find that Rix is more balanced than the other 'no missile' faction - TF
