QUOTE (notjarvis @ Aug 31 2010, 11:12 AM) I agree totally, and said much the same thing further up. I was just saying that (IMO) it shouldn't be the be all and end all of dev. communication. Ah, true. QUOTE (notjarvis @ Aug 31 2010, 11:12 AM) We have several open dev. forums if something needs to b...

<Bard|Around> #Freeallegiance is not the dev channel
It's a helpline *only* apparently, which surprised me, seeing as I've seen like 4 help requests over the last year or 2 (some of which imago solved iirc, ironically enough) so I'm not so sure it can't cope with all things alleg.

I'm still around, disappeared for 3 and a half weeks due to a "family emergency" (if you read that as, "someone died", you'd be right) I'm still working on it, if you can convince me you have more chance of finishing than i do, ill stand down and let you have a go. What kind of f...

to take barricudas point further, its well known that allegiance has space drag, if you have space drag, what are you gonna need? space wings. QED. (for those that want to point out that wings are for countering gravity: they are also used for breaking, large surface area) :P Also, I seem to remembe...

actually, theres no reason the game can't just remember how far the mouse has moved, rather than where the cursor is, otherwise fps games would get stuck if you turned right too often without turning left to recenter the cursor :D , in other words mice have no max distance. physically, the differenc...

basically, you can have exactly that, part of a quadratic curve looks identical to the whole thing, except smaller, the only thing is that if you want the max turn rate to be a known quantity (e.g. half), you will have to experiment to find where half is (or look up the algorithm, i cant help there ...
