QUOTE (Weedman @ Mar 13 2013, 06:26 PM) I am increasing interceptor thrust values from 300, to 400. It means they have
better acceleration. The side effect is it limits their top "cruise" boosting speed. I think that in order
to create some semblance of fairness, no ship should be going 450 mps. I ...

QUOTE (Shizoku @ Mar 11 2015, 02:07 AM) So dreg is now more useless, huzzah!

Dreg got a 10% bump in yeild, unless I'm reading it wrong. Still sucks to have giga hull...especially when your cons (and miners I guess) are even squishier than giga (basic vs. enh) and way more expensive.

The 290X is known to get hot but your temps seem to be in line with this review (no mention of a case and the pictures lead me to think they are using a test bench).

I'd play your favorite (graphically demanding) game and monitor the temperatures since benchmarks tend to stress your hardware much ...

Giga ints are too thin! You also used to be able to park a giga int between the giga int gunmounts, thus giga ints had an odd balance of being hard to hit and hard to hit anything with.

QUOTE (NightRychune @ Dec 7 2014, 07:59 PM) the 970 is an excellent GPU and it's not a significant enough performance increase over a 970 to warrant spending another $200 on it, and even then unless you also have either a 4k monitor or a 120hz monitor it's going to be wasted in applications outside ...

Corsair makes a bracket called the HG10, not sure if it supports your card. NZXT makes another one called the G10 Kraken that has been in market longer. Both require you to purchase a compatible closed loop cooler on your own.

Cloaks got huge buffs a while ago leading to the essentially infinite cloak that we have now. At the top tier energy/sig management isn't even an issue anymore because of the cloak changes contributing to faceroll tac gameplay. Try looking at the old A+ or maybe early DN core values to see what was ...
