I've got the same card, and the same problem. Mine is more distorted then static and personally it doesn't really bother me so i've not tried to fix it, but the wierd thing is that for me when the ship I am turreting in either stops or moves slowly the sound is fine.

Thats the only way I know as well, I don't think there is a list but i'm not 100% sure.
