sure, this game have run and will continue to run for a long time, so this would be a good idea.

It could be a webpage linked somewhere, or a heavily moderated thread which keeps a wall of text for each persons.

However, its use would hopefully be sparse, yet remembered when needed.

Wouldn't cap-ship only games be like:

no probes
caps run blindly into sectors
fights consists of turrets pointing and shooting
faction with longest range and damage wins
caps rams bases to death
