Zone Game 20 took place on June 2008.

Factions: Iron Coalition vs Technoflux

This was the introductory battle for Technoflux. Now that they had been balanced for large scale games, they could be utilised in Zone Games.

Following the last report concerning Dans disappearance, we were adamant on finding out what had happened to him and what the IC were up to. What we found was amazing, there was no sign of Dan, who has now been listed as missing, however we were able to uncover a huge battle between IC forces and these new ships which Dan had reported on.

These ships seem to be vaguely pinkish mauve and have hideously accurate weapons, it seems that the Iron Coalition has created a Frankenstein of sorts, these new ships made short work of the IC task force that was sent to investigate the situation. The explosions and weapons signatures could be detected from AUs away, the other factions could not have missed it. It seems this new faction has broken away from Coalition forces and its heading is unknown. The Iron Coalition has declined to comment on the event, and we were unable to approach the new faction, which appeared hostile to all ships within range.

We still don't know the full story about what went down in that sector, but I think we have a pretty good impression, the Coalition has created something it no longer has control over, something extremely powerful and dangerous, we can only hope that it doesn't come for us and see what the other factions do in response to this.

The loss of Data_Dan was distressing for DATANET but not as distressing as the news intercepted from an IC transmission:

“You… stop Mastermind… costs… careful… power!”

We only managed to decipher a small amount of the message but what we do know is that a force from the Iron Coalition is mobilizing and heading towards the research station Data_Dan last reported from! We don’t know what is going apart from someone called Mastermind is a threat the IC are taking very seriously.

I wouldn’t want to be seen around that sector in the coming days...

We found out what happened but you won’t believe it. The IC force that was dispatched to “stop Matermind” was completely wiped out, without much of a fight...

The new faction is calling themselves the Tecnoflux from what we gather but it’s not confirmed. Their ships are oddly designed, elegant and beautiful but powerful to the point the Iron Coalition is scared!

After these “Tecnoflux” things broke through the forces of the IC they were last seen heading into Ga’tarren space...
