Hello old comrades!
This morning as I was relaxing in bed, mindlessly scrolling through my Facepoop feed, I came across the Freeallegiance FB "Happy News" post and had a strong desire to see what has been going on in my old stomping grounds. There's a lot of history here, a lot of memories, a lot of good things, and a lot of bad stuff too. I really love Allegiance. No game will ever be so emotionally taxing, rewarding, and ultimately frustrating as this game and the community can be at times. Reminiscing about all of the amazing games we participated in, the crappy games that we suffered through, the terrible attitudes that some of us cultivated, and lots of other crap.
We really should have been a lot nicer to each other while playing this ridiculous game. I know that I was personally responsible for ruining other peoples gaming experience by just being a jerk. For my role in that childish, ego-centric, tyranny, I would like to give my most sincere apology.
Moving forward, Allegiance and its community are amazing. Those of you that have donated your money, time, and expertise to this game, thank you. I wish that I had more time to play!
And now, an update about myself.
I live in Seattle now. I met the love of my life in Seattle and we decided to get married. Life is beautiful and I'll just leave it at that.
