Ok lets run it down for him

Waaah I cannot give my game to my friend to play anymore for free. Stop being a douche nozzle for ten $#@!ing seconds and get that brain thinking again. Ffs make a second free Live ID "sell" it to yourself on the second account, share the ID and password with your friend. Don't try they won't give it back angle as you run the risk with a CD as well.

HAVING to connect to the internet to play the game is a pain in the ass and a show stopper for me as I have never have nor will have an XBox Live account. (ten year olds calling me $#@!$@ and fag is something I don't want to deal with in a nutshell) I have never connected my console to the internet by choice and have never played a console game online by choice. I have to believe that makes me a statistical outlier on par with the Amish. So they lost me as a customer and those like me. I'm pretty sure they won't miss me.

The rest is silliness, sour grapes, and wanting a pony that flies while @#(!ting gold coins into a super model's bosom.

I mean ffs what exactly where you expecting for a $300 pseudo-PC? The advantage a console has over a PC is all about the interface between man and machine along with the ease of use. They are trying to make the console the connection point for your house. Simplifying all the various pieces of hardware through a common interface, thier console. TEN years ago they told us this was the direction they wanted to head in and herp derp they are doing it. Why the surprise and outrage?

News flash the games are going to be platform specific more and more for longer and longer times before being ported to other platforms. It is how all the other popular media has worked for decades and decades.

If the PS4 doesn't suck, and if Harmonix makes another kick-arse Rock Band game, then I may be in the market for another console. So far... not really interested. PS3 is just s bluray & Rock Band 3 platform for me.

As an owner of both an xbox and an xbox 360, and serious gamer on both systems I will likely not be purchasing the One. The number of games I have purchased on my xbox compared to my PC over the past year, as well as my rapidly declining interest in upcoming titles have already led me to consider investing my next investment into my PC instead of replacing my xbox.

I have compiled a shortlist of my main problems with why I was disappointed about the One reveal

1: I do not use my xbox as a media device, it is not plugged into my TV, it is plugged into a monitor in my desk. I have a family and the TV is not mine to monopolize. I do not want to buy a fullsize HIGH quality gaming TV for my den when a much less expensive monitor will do

2: I do not own, and have no desire to own a Kinect. Voice commands through my headset would be fine, but all of its video features are useless to me because of reason 1, I sit 3 feet away from a monitor

3: Nothing about what I saw about multitasking is not already better done on my current PC setup.

4: Sports... EA sports can go F*** itself & I don't play fantasy sports & reason 1

6: Both CoD and Halo have lost my attention after their respective splits with their lead developers

The console itself looks SLICK, the controller is just about perfect.
