Hey I recently upgraded my computer and need to find the replacement autopilot sound, I think it just replaced the "autopillot engaged/disengaged" words and left the tones.
A forum search found nothing.

You need to replace/delete the following files:
vo_sal_autopilotengage.wav (.ogg) and vo_sal_autopilotdisengage.wav

It's a new o/s and everything, the last thing I want to do is put a program on it, I'm installing an insane amount of programs as it is.

Can't wait to do this when I get home. My gf is always complaining about my autopilot notifications.

Wife says she HATES when I play allegiance without headphones, because of the autopilot on/off notifications.

Actually, that is why I have switched most programs I use, to portable versions. Specially programs I don“t use too often. That way I just backup that full folder with portable progs, and I forget about reinstalls. Can move most programs to a new computer in minutes.
For audio edit, try Audacity. You can find it in PoratableApps (together with a lot of other cool open source programs).
