Here's an option for new starting and total money values for discussion, making the terms used similar to avoid possible confusion as well as a baseline description and giving the same values to each other.

Original

Code: Select all

                    Start $   Total $
Low                   .75      .75
Med Low               X        .85
Med                  1.0      1.0
Med High              X       1.15
High                 1.25     1.25
Higher                X       1.35
Very High            1.5       X
Highest               X       1.5
Rib                  1.65      X
Sol                  1.75      X
Big                   X       2.5
Out                  9         X

Suggested;

Code: Select all

                    Start $   Total $
Insanely Low          .5       .5
Very Low              .65      .65
Low                   .75      .75

I don't understand why there is a trac ticket for this nor why this is in the code section, it's not a code change.

I don't care to be honest but I don't really see a reason why the values need to be changed.

Make it even more easy to stack settings?!

That's completely the reverse of what it does.

It is a code change.

to be honest the current setting works, dont fix what isn't broken.

It just that the commander with no GC need to click on Game Setts to check that teh GC didn't stack setts in his favour, easy.

No it isn't

I have just done it now without touching the Allegiance code (and in 1 min as well), all it needs is for TE to put it in and bam it's done.

No code change.

Also I'm not going to give it to TE cuz I still don't think it's needed.

EDIT: This should be in general/deleted for discussion and the actual request in Artwork & In-Game Content, no need for a trac ticket at all.

The settings changes are part of the code base, in the domain of the development ZL, therefore this forum is appropriate.

But I don't see a need for this change. 1/1 is perfectly fine for most games.

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.

Psh it's practically artwork without the art. I would consider the code as anything with actual C++ code in it, not a file with some variables. Just because the code uses it doesn't make it code and Dev ZL doesn't need to do anything in this regard, TE is the one with the power for this and it doesn't need Dev ZL approval but it does need community wide (more then CC) approval as it will change game controller options.
